Trina Pineda has worked in the social development sector since graduating from the Ateneo de Manila University. Her familiarity with development work and exposure to microfinance in the provinces has led her to take a more active interest in the field.

She has recently completed her Master’s Degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology. Trina lends her experience in research, human resources, and communications to the conduct of trainings and impact assessments to clients’ microfinance initiatives. She likewise serves as a pillar for the delivery of training courses for the Ateneo Microfinance Capacity Building Program. Primarily responsible for developing structured learning experiences for the participants, Trina incorporates well adult learning techniques in the training design of various course offerings. She has helped organizations tighten up their human resource policies and come up with appropriate schemes to motivate microfinance management and staff. As a firm believer that the greatest resource of any organization is its people, Trina lends her expertise in developing skills and knowledge of development workers.
